“We believe that a community needs to make the visible statement about who the community is” James Hunt
“We are all here to go racing and prejudice will never play any part in that” Kimi Räikkonnen
The basis of this community is respect, so apply Wheaton’s law in any occasion: “Don’t be a d!ck”.
We want to have fun and relax
We fight, but we do not hurt. Our goal is not to destroy, it is to win with respect
We‘re happy about winning, not happy somebody loses
We help each other as best as we can
WE ACCEPT THAT WE ARE NOT PERFECT, AND SOMETIMES WE’RE EVEN WRONG
Bad stuff happens, but we try neither to create it nor to be part of it
We don‘t like swearwords, but they are not a violation
We can not agree how to pronounce the name of the site either
You own your own words. Be careful about what you say and always try to be kind in your communication
All sims are equal. Some enjoy some of them more. Some enjoy others more. Just enjoy
If in doubt: don‘t
Be respectful to each other. On the track, here, in RL. Everywhere. There will be
- No insults
- No demeaning
- No trolling
- No Spamming/UCE
Comments that degrade any race, religion, gender, age, or abilities are not acceptable. Such comments will be moderated and possibly deleted, the author will face consequences.
Be respectful of copyrights
No illegal activity
No copyrighted songs in videos without authorization and/or clearance of rights
No use of copyrighted material without authorization and/or clearance of rights
Screenshots and videos of yourself racing a sim are not a violation
Any trangression of these rules will be dealt with as fast as humanly possible. If necessary by permanently banning the user. Being here amongst fellow SimRacers and fans is a privilege, not a birthright.
Let’s make one thing clear:
Our policy with trangressors of the rules of the site is “three strikes and you are out”, meaning that brats have at most two opportunities to change their behavior. Depending on their transgression the WromWrom.net team may choose to ban them sooner than that.
Now, that doesn’t mean we won’t forgive trangressors if they change their behavior. But it means that we won’t tolerate trangressions of our rules, and we won’t have any problem banning trangressors forever.
If anything’s unclear, please feel free to ask anytime. Questions are a good thing.
Please send your reports of transgressions to firstname.lastname@example.org
